Woonun willoughby
Woonun was born on 6 June 1991 in Sydney and is a Pitjatjantjara/ Narrunga man currently based in Adelaide. He completed a
traineeship in Arts Administration at Kurruru Performing Arts Campus and has spent a year with Carclew as a member of the committee for "Blak Nite 2011".
Woonun will be attending Wilto Yerlo Humanities and Social Sciences
Foundation Program in 2011 and beyond but is keen to further his artistic career at the same time. Woonun's strengths lie with is
didgeridu playing and his dancing, but given the opportunity, he will shine just as brightly as an actor.
Woonun's father is Bart Willoughby of "No Fixed Address", "Mixed
Relations" and "Black Arm Band" fame. Well-known Australian actor, Jack Thompson is Woonun's mentor who encourages Woonun in all his endeavours.
