August 2010
Everyone has been very busy these last couple of months. Trevor and Derek have been preparing for the production of Namatjira which will open on 29
September at Belvoir Theatre in Sydney. Trevor has also been doing some preparation for Yirra Yaakin's Waltzing the Wilarra which will be a major feature at the 2011 Perth International Arts Festival.
Heath is looking at a musical career rather than an acting career and was very inspired during the visit of Martin Piecuch, Music Director from New York,
who was here to take a Masterclass for Indigenous singers in musical theatre and opera. Martin is also a very fine jazz musician and played with the Graham Wood Trio at the Ellington Jazz Club while in Perth. Martin invited
Heath to join the group playing his didgeridoo and the collaboration was just awesome.
Martin believes that Heath is an outstanding didgeridoo player and will promote him in the US to do a tour playing the
didgeridoo with jazz bands and perhaps a symphony orchestra.

February 2010
Sapphires and Waltzing the Wilarra went to APAM in Adelaide and from all accounts
both were highly successful. Waltzing the Wilarra is written and composed by David Milroy and features Trevor Jamieson. It will be part of the 2011 Perth International Arts Festival.
